Welcome to Teesside University’s TV and Movies Society

For great TV shows and movies every week. From classics to modern, American to British, we have fun and a good laugh.

We are based in the Uni’s lecture theatres that have HD projectors and a semi-competent sound system. Why watch something on a regular old TV or computer screen at home when you can see it on a cinema screen with friends and have a good laugh?

We go on cinema trips to the local Cineworld where we have a half price ticket deal for society members whenever we go as a group. We also run raffles occasionally for DVDs, posters, and other such goodies we can get or are donated to us.

Come watch great shows and films. Have fun and meet new people.

TV Night: Mondays 6pm in OL7.
Movie Night: Friday 6pm in OL7.

How to be a member: OK the Union has changed the member sign-up system this year. To sign-up you need to register on the union website here and then use the memberships page. Membership fee is £5 and you’ll need a credit/debit card in order to pay.
